SMS Opt-In Information

MeetAlex AI Emergency Alerts is an optional, operational text message program run by Sparkforge LLC for MeetAlex AI. It notifies a subscribing business's owner, managers or designated on-call staff when Alex detects an urgent call (for example, a burst pipe or no heat). It is not used for marketing.

Who receives messages

Only people a subscribing business adds as emergency contacts, and only after their consent is recorded. Callers to the business and members of the public are not enrolled.

How opt-in works

A signed-in owner or manager opens Emergency Alerts → Settings in the MeetAlex AI dashboard.
They enter the contact's name and mobile number and turn on SMS alerts.
Next to each number is an optional consent checkbox, unchecked by default, with the disclosure shown below. Texts are only sent to contacts whose box is checked; changing the number requires confirming consent again.
The contact must have agreed to receive these alerts. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service.

Message details

Sender: MeetAlex AI (Sparkforge LLC).
Content: business name, priority, a short issue summary, time and a secure dashboard link. Minimal personal details.
Frequency varies with the number of urgent calls the business receives.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP to any alert to stop texts. Reply HELP for help.
An owner or manager can also uncheck SMS alerts or the consent box in Emergency Alerts settings at any time.
