Sparkforge LLC ("we") operates Alex AI, an AI-powered virtual receptionist and business management service. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account details: name, email, business name, address, hours and services.
• Business records you enter: customers, appointments, jobs, employees, invoices and expenses.
• Phone calls to your Alex number: caller phone number, call length, transcripts and summaries.
• Website voice and chat demos: audio is processed live to respond and is not saved to your account.
• Payment details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never store full card numbers.

How we use it

• To answer calls, book appointments and run the features you use.
• To bill your subscription and measure phone minutes.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your business records to train AI models.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run Alex AI: hosting and database, AI language and voice providers, Twilio (phone calls and text alerts) and Stripe (payments). They may only use it to provide their service to us.

Keeping data separate

Each business's records are kept separate and can only be seen by that business's team members.

Retention and deletion

We keep your records while your account is open. Cancelling does not delete records. You may ask us to delete your account and data by email.

Your California rights

California residents may request to know, correct or delete their personal information, and will not be treated differently for doing so. Email us to make a request.

SMS notifications

Sparkforge LLC operates MeetAlex AI Emergency Alerts, an optional program that texts a subscribing business's designated contacts about urgent calls. We collect the contact's name, mobile number, consent status and message delivery status only to send these operational alerts. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or an owner or manager can disable alerts in Emergency Alerts settings. Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes; they are shared only with our messaging provider (Twilio) to deliver alerts. Health information

Alex AI is not currently intended for storing patient health information.
